The Team: The Admissions department is part of the Peri-Operative Services at the Launceston General Hospital. Staff are responsible for elective surgery bookings (and cancellations), and admissions, along with management of the Elective Surgery Waiting List, as directed by the Nurse Unit Manager. The Role: Key responsibilities include: Management of the Elective Surgery Waiting list - frontline patient phone calls and face to face admissions. Ability to use the required computer programs Experience with auditing processes Part of a team. Available for varied shift times - start times are on a rotating roster and will include all of the following: 0630 to 1436, 0700 to 1506, 0800 to 1606 and 0900 to 1706. Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 5 January 2026. notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
