Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Nurse Unit Manager Level 2 Remuneration: $133, pa (superannuation + salary packaging options) Location: Orange, NSW – Find out more Hours Per Week: 38 Applications Close: 27 October Nursing Unit Manager – Whole of Hospital Program Lead Orange Health Service About the role The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management of staff, services and resources to ensure delivery of safe, effective, quality nursing and midwifery care. Opportunities to improve patient care services focusing on patient access and flow is an essential purpose of this role. Access to high quality, safe and timely health care is critical for patients, carers and staff. This role will be integral to providing program and project management expertise to support the delivery and implementation of transformational initiatives associated with the Whole of Hospital project and in alignment with the WNSW LHD - Strategic Plan . The position will incorporate and implement initiatives designed to create positive and healthy workplace culture, enhancing employees' skill sets and assist in building high performing teams. Identify key areas for improving and sustaining current processes in conjunction with the implementation of new strategies enabling better patient outcomes are upheld and facility wide Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) prioritised by the Ministry of Health are met.
