School Crossing Supervisor - Freeman's Reach Public School Transport for NSW is looking for a School Crossing Supervisor for Freeman's Reach Public School. The role is part-time, permanent, and involves supervising school crossings during school zone hours. Responsibilities Supervise school crossings between 8:15 – 9:15 AM and 2:30 – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Ensure the safety of children, parents, teachers and motorists; maintain a high safety standard. Be present and alert in both good and bad weather conditions. Communicate effectively with school staff and visitors. Follow all Transport for NSW safety protocols and procedures. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Community‑mindful, reliable and ready to show up for the community. Effective communication skills and alertness to potential dangers. Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, reference and police checks and a health assessment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. Benefits Hourly rate of $26.43, superannuation and compensation during school holidays Terms 1‑3. In‑person, on‑site role at Freeman's Reach, NSW.
