Location: North Sydney or Brisbane (Hybrid working) Job Category: Marketing and Communications Join a passionate industry supporting global demand for quality, sustainable red meat Flexible, supporting and inclusive team culture with great rewards and benefits Travel to regional locations to implement events and engage with industry stakeholders Job Description About the Role Join the MLA Events team and play a key role in planning and delivering impactful events that connect industry stakeholders with MLA’s adoption and commercialisation initiatives. This dynamic role also involves coordinating event sponsorships and managing speaker requests to ensure MLA’s presence at key industry gatherings. Our ideal Events Coordinator has: Strong proven record in organising events with 3 – 5 years of experience preferred. Tertiary qualifications in events, marketing, or communications preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with an ability to professionally liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally for the activation of events. Project planning and time management skills (contracting, administration, implementation and budgeting) with keen eye for attention to detail to deliver on time and within budget. Keen interest in travelling regularly to regional Australia to implement events. The successful candidate will be required to hold an appropriate visa/residency status for full-time employment in Australia. For more information refer to the position description.
