CCR Group is looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to help build the community they live in. As a locally owned and run business, we are passionate about supporting local labour for local projects. Servicing the Southwest, we provide high level support to the Mining, Processing and Engineering/Construction sectors. Primarily based onsite supporting our operations with respect to all HSE compliance matters, there will be time per fortnight working from our Bunbury based workshop, providing continuous H&S education and support, with a focus on our safety management system, training, and culture. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for: Ensuring that the business is supported by appropriate health and safety advice such that the requirements of both regulatory and ISO accreditation requirements are met Providing on-site safety oversight for daily construction activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements Delivering implementable health and safety initiatives, KPI’s and training consistent with the Business direction Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Strategy Managing/Assisting with Internal & External Audit Schedule including 9001:2015 and 45001 Operational Health and Safety Leadership Support the Return To Work process Skills & Experience Cert IV in WHS / Safety Management or a related HSE oriented field Proven employment experience in a HSEQ leadership role Comprehensive knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice Experience working with ISO Accredited organisations (ISO: 9001:2015 and AS: 45001:2018.) Understanding of Workers Compensation and Return-to-Work programs Sound knowledge of risk management principles and related practices and procedures Demonstrated experience in implementing health and safety management systems, and providing advice to managers and staff with regard to best practice HSEQ matters Strong knowledge of environmental regulation Possess a working understanding of leadership principles and management best practice Highly Desirable Diploma in WHS / Safety Management or a related HSE oriented field Fabrication or Mechanical trade background Salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on skills and experience.
