Client Service Officer

Join to apply for the Client Service Officer role at Mercer We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client Service team at Mercer . This role will be based in our Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As the Client Service Officer , you will act as a critical link between our clients and financial advisors, managing a variety of client service tasks to ensure an outstanding client experience while maintaining compliance standards. We will count on you to: Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries and service needs, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Prepare and process financial planning documents, applications, and client reviews. Support advisors by managing client schedules, meeting preparation, and follow‑up actions. Handle compliance requirements, including maintaining accurate records and documentation. Proactively identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Assist with training and mentoring junior client service team members. What you need to have: Minimum of 2 years in a financial planning, wealth management, or client service role. Proficient in Xplan, Salesforce, and MS Office Suite. Good understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations. RG146 compliant.
