Stake your claim in a brand new high-end Indian restaurant in the role of a Chef. Your creative flair will infuse authentic tandoor-inspired flavors setting the stage to unveil a successful establishment. You will be experienced to manage the daily restaurant trade on top of prospective events Required skills & attributes: Embracing full ownership of repositioning and growing the Restaurant your innovative, passionate, and enthusiastic creativity will support the Restaurants success. You will enjoy working collaboratively with the Owner and GM to create something truly amazing. You will naturally have a strong work ethic and be someone who takes pride in the consistency and presentation of the food produced. Possessing excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills; Reliable and flexible attitude. Innovative, passionate, enthusiastic, and able to work cohesively with both kitchen and FOH teams. Food safety knowledge is critical and you will have a demonstrated knowledge of excellent food safety standards; Have a developed knowledge of WHS best practices in a commercial kitchen. Qualifications and hands-on experience Minimum of 3 years working in a chef role in a fast-paced commercial kitchen with authentic Indian Cuisine experience; Strong knowledge of costing food and invoice management - COGS is inclusive and aligned to individual dishes. Must have successfully completed Certificate 3 in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equal qualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr
