TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent - Full-time or Part-time LOCATION: South West Sydney Position Purpose The purpose of this position is to provide Accounts Payable support to the Financial Controller and Head Office team for our pubs. The role is based in South‑West Sydney and will be required to work Monday‑Friday from 8.30am – 5.00pm daily. Company Established in the 1970s, it is an entrepreneurial family‑owned group. The office supports the family as they develop and manage multiple properties and pubs, as well as the administration for all financial family matters. The group is looking for someone who is self‑motivated, excellent organisational skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced team environment. Key Responsibilities New supplier onboarding, including vetting of ASIC/ATO registrations and bank account details Following up business managers for timely approval of bills Full end‑to‑end fortnightly AP processing using Light Year (OCR) and Xero Ensuring accurate general ledger / business unit coding of bills Process payments via banking software system and review to ensure accuracy Maintain bank and credit card accounts and ensure entries are processed and reconciled Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of Excel High attention to detail Demonstrated problem solving The ability to be flexible and have great multitasking skills Experience with Lightyear and Xero or another AP software (an advantage) Personal Specifications Demonstrated experience supporting a Finance Team for at least 3-5 years Intermediate to advanced skills across Microsoft Office 365 suite of products including Word, Excel and Outlook Quickly adapts to new technology and systems and is comfortable trying new systems High level of professional communication and writing skills Maintains a very high work ethic and integrity at all times, particularly as the person will be subject to highly confidential business and personal matters #J-18808-Ljbffr
