Sales & Customer Service Assistant – Second Hand Appliances & Factory Outlet Geebung Join our friendly, family-owned appliance team in Geebung We’re looking for a reliable, motivated, and personable team member to help customers find the right fridge, washer, dryer, or oven — and to keep our store running smoothly day‑to‑day. About Us Second Hand Appliances Geebung has been Brisbane’s trusted family-owned appliance retailer since 2014. We specialise in quality second‑hand and factory‑tested fridges, washers, dryers, and other home appliances. We’re proud of our excellent customer service, fast delivery, and down‑to‑earth team culture. Your Role You’ll be the first friendly face customers see when they walk in — helping them choose the right product, answering questions, and completing sales both in‑store and online. You’ll also assist with general showroom tasks and light administrative duties. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include: Greeting and assisting customers in the showroom Providing product advice and processing sales Answering phone and email enquiries Helping with stock display, pricing, and showroom presentation Assisting with online orders and basic computer tasks (Shopify, email, etc.) What We’re Looking For A positive attitude and genuine people skills Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred, not essential) Basic computer and phone skills Reliability and willingness to learn Good communication and common sense Why Join Us Great pay: $35–$40 per hour + performance bonuses (rate reviewed after trial period) Stable, long‑term position (optional flexibility) Employee discounts on appliances Convenient Geebung location – easy parking and relaxed atmosphere, with café, brewery, and petrol station next to us.
