Flexibility to choose your preferred workdays, with the option to spread your 22.8 hours across 3 to 5 days per week $66,274 - $71,960 per annum pro rata + Super (salary increases pending) Based at our Yallourn Campus Job Reference No. 25141 About the role The WHS Administrative Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of wellbeing, health and safety across TAFE Gippsland. In this role, you will provide high quality administration and systems support to the Wellbeing Health and Safety (WHS) team. You will coordinate WHS related training, maintain accurate WHS records and documentation, support incident management processes through DoneSafe, and assist in preparing reports and communications for staff and stakeholders. The role is essential to ensuring WHS programs are delivered effectively and aligned with organisational requirements. Working collaboratively in a fast-paced team, you will play an active role in delivering wellbeing initiatives, coordinating first aid and emergency management activities, supporting payroll related WHS updates, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of WHS processes across multiple campuses. About you You are an organised, detail-focused administrator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys collaborating with a diverse team. You communicate clearly, build positive relationships, and bring a proactive approach to everything you do. With strong customer service skills and a commitment to confidentiality, you’re able to prioritise effectively and manage competing tasks with confidence. You are keen to continue developing your knowledge in Wellbeing, Health and Safety, and contribute to a positive, supportive and safety-focused workplace culture. Qualifications and experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare accurate documentation and correspond professionally with staff and stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage competing priorities, and respond with empathy and professionalism. Experience providing high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced environment (preferably within a Wellbeing, Health and Safety environment). Post‑secondary qualification in Business Administration or a related field including in-progress study (highly desirable).
