(Organisation site )Strategic Communication; Strategy Insights and Advisory; Brisbane CityAs Senior Web Content Officer you will play a key role within the Strategic Communication teams in delivering contemporary digital and specialist online communication services on behalf of the department. This dynamic role centres on creating outstanding user experiences through engaging, accessible and customer-focused website content. You will bring strong editorial skills, a data-driven mindset and a passion for collaborating to achieve great outcomes.The Strategic Communications branch is part of the Strategic, Insight and Advisory Division. The branch takes a strategic, whole-of-department view of communication, managing the department's reputation and providing context and consistency to all communication messaging. The branch focuses on a few key areas: strategic communication; media; online, social media and digital strategy; marketing and creative; and internal communication.For this role we are looking for someone to:• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and maintain the department's website, ensuring it is accessible, searchable, customer-focused and meets whole-of-government standards.• Prepare, review and publish web content with a high level of responsiveness, accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring best-practice standards are maintained.• Provide strategic, data-driven advice to business areas about the most effective way to deliver content that is user friendly and responsive to their audience needs.• Analyse and report on the effectiveness of the department's website, using insights to guide decision-making and develop strategies for improving user experience.• Collaborate effectively with the digital marketing team to optimise the customer journey across the department's digital channels, ensuring a consistent and positive brand experience.• Maintain awareness and facilitate early adoption of emerging digital techniques and tactics and whole-of-government policies and publishing standards.• Operate industry standard software and systems in support of content and asset creation, web publishing, monitoring, and insights/evaluation.• Develop and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.• Actively engage in a team environment and positive culture, by demonstrating our core values, celebrating success, and committing to continued learning and developmentApplications to remain current for 12 monthsJob Ad Reference: QLD/572693/24Closing Date: Tuesday, 02 July 2024Further information
