Parts Interpreter

This full-time Parts Interpreter role at Nowra Motors Pty Ltd in South Nowra, NSW offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the automotive industry. As a Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to support the sales and distribution of automotive parts and accessories. What you'll be doing Actively engage with customers, both in-person and over the phone, to determine their specific needs and provide appropriate parts recommendations Accurately interpret technical manuals, schematics, and parts catalogues to identify the correct parts for each customer's vehicle Process orders, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of parts to customers Participate in regular training to stay up-to-date with new products, technologies, and industry developments Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide seamless support and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain detailed records and documentation related to all parts transactions What we're looking for Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar automotive parts role, preferably within a dealership or automotive retail environment Strong technical knowledge and the ability to interpret parts manuals, schematics, and catalogues Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers Proficiency in using computer systems and databases to manage inventory and process orders A proactive and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service Salary will be based on experience.
