We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays. Job Description This permanent, part‑time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role. Service Location: Hawthorn VIC, 3122. You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: This is an afternoon service only – 3pm‑6pm. Total hours: 15. The Role – Ready to Grow Your Leadership? As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high‑quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. Responsibilities and key activities: Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies. Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children. Foster genuine relationships with children and their families. Play and have FUN with primary school‑aged children. Support program compliance according to industry regulations. The Successful Candidate We’re looking for someone who: Is ideally experienced in Before and After School Care or education – but we can train you. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is still a big kid at heart. Is a confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals. Is a strong team player with excellent problem‑solving skills and a can‑do, positive attitude. Is passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‑aged children. Is energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have FUN. Has a relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
