About the role ABOUT YOU You have a passion for supporting young parents and their families to heal from trauma You are open to being challenged and are able to consider different views You are open to learning and working in an attachment and trauma informed practice You are willing to embrace the Lighthouse Model of Care, participate in reflective practice and work as a team You have the ability to stay calm in emotionally demanding situations You are committed to personal and professional development ABOUT THE ROLE This role is within the Young Parents and Babies Transitional Home which provides support to enrich the safety, attachment and physical and emotional development for trauma-impacted young parents and their babies / children. Work from a welcoming Lighthouse Transitional home which specialises in supporting young people (under 25) and their babies Provide therapeutic case management to a small case load which works to enrich the safety, attachment and physical and emotional development between trauma-impacted young parent’s and their babies / children. Support young people to plan for their transitions to safe and sustainable independent living and break the cycle of intergenerational trauma Deliver individualised therapeutic interventions that are strengths based and young person centred, with the guidance of the Lighthouse Clinical Team. Develop and maintain multi-disciplinary stakeholder relationships within the community to create good outcomes for young people WHAT WE OFFER YOU A culture in which young people and staff are truly valued and community members feel a sense of belonging Regular clinical supervision from our Psychological Wellness Team Regular Group reflective practice sessions Ongoing training and development through the Lighthouse Institute ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Level Qualification in a related discipline (social work, health, psychology, social science, community services) Hold a current Working with Children Check (Employee) Current unrestricted driver’s license Valid first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one) Complete a National Criminal Records check, and participate in a psycho-social screen by Lighthouse Provide consent for a Disqualified Carers Check Why You'll love working here Work from home Professional development assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr
