ABOUT US Kinexus is a specialist recruiter in the Defence and Federal Government space. With deep roots in the Defence sector, Kinexus is uniquely placed to support major programs and projects across Australia. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Recruiter to source, engage and support candidates across our ICT and engineering talent communities. This is a candidate-focused role, ideal for someone early in their career-whether you have 1-3 years' experience in recruitment, sales, customer service, ICT/technical roles, or you're looking to step into the industry for the first time. You'll work across a diverse range of Defence and Federal Government projects, connecting with highly skilled professionals and helping them progress their careers. Key responsibilities Sourcing and engaging ICT and engineering candidates across a range of technical disciplines. Developing and maintaining a strong network of Defence-experienced and security-cleared professionals. Building trusted, long-term relationships with candidates in our talent community. Proactively identifying new channels to attract and engage technical talent. Growing your social media and industry presence to support your candidate network. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE If you have previous recruitment experience, that's great-however, you don't need prior recruitment experience to succeed here; we'll teach you that. Many of our best people come from Defence, ICT, engineering, customer service, sales or other people-focused backgrounds. Most importantly, you will have: Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to build rapport with a wide range of people. A proactive, outcome-driven mindset. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Curiosity about technology, engineering or Defence (no technical background required). KINEXUS BENEFITS Monthly RDO. Flexible working.
