We are seeking a dynamic and practical individual with an interest in electrical and instrumentation work, a strong safety focus and a willingness to undertake a structured two-year traineeship. This role supports a 2-year Instrumentation Traineeship alongside standard electrical duties. While completing a Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control , you will continue to undertake electrical work and gain practical experience with instrumentation and control systems across Council assets, building specialist skills and long‑term career capability. About Rous Our new site will bring together all Council operations under one roof, creating a dynamic, collaborative, and future‑focused workplace. Located on a spacious 71‑hectare site, the facility has been designed with staff wellbeing, sustainability, and operational excellence in mind. Rous has an operational footprint covering 3,000km2. As a county council, we are responsible for providing three specific functions; bulk water supply, weed biosecurity and flood mitigation.
