We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged C are clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Riverina Murray and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably 2- 3 days minimum) Day to day role looks like: Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan Transport to appointments and shopping Meal preparation Social Support or Respite for family/carers Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing ( if qualified/fully trained) To be successful in this role you’ll need A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people A reliable team player Understanding of workplace health and safety An Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential) Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent ( not essential as y ou can complete this through our traineeship program) Willingness to apply for a Police Check What we can offer you: Competitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (99c per Km) + paid travel time Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax Career growth and increased earning potential Earn and learn - we will support you to get your Certificate 3 in Individual Support Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits Paid Parental leave Long Service leave after 5 years A values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds We know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
