About the Role We are looking for a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Financials Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Financials solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing or supporting financial systems, requirements capturing, configuration, data conversion and testing, and is detail oriented, self‑motivated, proactive, results‑oriented, and able to partner with customers and the project team. Responsibilities Work closely with the customer’s project team to design, configure and deploy functional requirements. Become an expert in the Workday Financial Management product suite. Understand client business requirements, configure the solution, demonstrate configurations through prototypes, and assist clients in testing. Help convert legacy data into Workday. Assist the integration consulting team to configure and test integrations between Workday and third‑party / custom solutions. Apply Workday’s Implementation Methodology to all engagements. Mentor new consultants. Ensure the client follows Workday best practices. Help the client achieve referenceability once in production. Maintain product expertise and Workday Certification(s) and stay familiar with the roadmap. Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status. About You Senior Consultant level; 6+ years implementing Financial and/or Expense Management ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Lawson, etc.) as a consultant or customer. Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company. Functional expertise in at least one of: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting. Passion for customer service. Validated project management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities. Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self‑training. Experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously (plus). Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required. Workday Financials expertise. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Capable of acquiring and maintaining an Australian Government security clearance to the required level.
