Overview Our Children’s Services Team are passionate educators and leaders who create safe, engaging environments for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive. Across 47 NSW schools, our OSHC Educators and Coordinators deliver enriching before and after school care, packed with creativity, play, and learning. Every day, our team runs programs that include sport, creative arts, cooking, and more—working closely with children, families, and schools to support development in a healthy, inclusive environment. Inspire and influence young hearts and minds Create valuable opportunities outside of the classroom Unique casual role with flexible hours and working arrangements We seek a casual educator to support children at our OSHC services at West Pennant Hills. To be considered for this role, a minimum availability of 3 afternoons per week is required, with shifts starting from 2 pm. About your new role You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career About you Y NSW staff love supporting their communities, and our educators innovate learning every day Y NSW OSHC Educators are motivated to develop children outside of the classroom Everyone at the Y NSW ensures that we provide supportive services for families Everyone at the Y NSW is committed to safeguarding and hosting safe learning environments To be successful in this role, you will have Experience supervising and interacting with children Ability to follow safeguarding priorities Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR Valid Working with Children Check Police Check (paid for by the Y) Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week Y work with us Join a supportive local area network with group training and collaborative projects Room to learn new skills and build career development by gaining access to the Y NSW professional training network Awesome discounts on The Y services and products Flexible hours and arrangements, for a work-life balance that works for you Who What Y?
