We're preparing to launch an exciting new site late / early and are currently seeking a passionate and experienced commercial construction Site Manager to join the team from day one. This is your chance to be part of something bigger than just another construction site — you'll be building places that enhance lives and create communities About The Role You’ll take the lead on site, managing a team of labourers, plant operators, and contractors to deliver the $20 million stunning commercial resort‑style amenities on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is hands‑on and dynamic, giving you the chance to drive real outcomes on the ground. Your Responsibilities Will Include Site planning and documentation preparedness Monitoring build progress and providing feedback reports Ensuring quality assurance and ITP compliance Maintaining accurate site diaries and visual records Managing defects and holding trades accountable Building team capability and ensuring compliance Leading and engaging your team to get the best out of them Running weekly coordination meetings and reporting to stakeholders You’ll be a confident decision‑maker, able to identify challenges early, resolve issues quickly, and keep projects on track. We're looking for someone with a trade background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships across site teams and contractors. Qualifications QBCC Supervisor License is essential Extensive experience in Commercial construction Proven background managing sites efficiently taking into account the health and safety of the teams Current Drivers Licence Proactive and action‑oriented, someone who takes responsibility and delivers the agreed outcomes Trade background essential, preferably in carpentry Strong problem‑solving skills and the confidence to make informed decisions quickly Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities Someone who leads by example Highly competent in IT and software A professional who values quality, accountability, and teamwork Why Join QA Build and GemLife?
