Quality and Compliance Officer (Part-Time) Equality Disability and Health Careservices – Narrabeen NSW Equality Disability and Health Care Services Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider supporting participants across NSW. We are committed to safe, ethical, and compliant service delivery, with strong systems that support participants, staff, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a Quality and Compliance Officer to join our team in a part-time capacity. Position Overview This is a hands‑on, operational quality and compliance role focused on NDIS reporting, restrictive practices, audits, risk management, and continuous improvement. The role plays a critical part in maintaining NDIS compliance, audit readiness, and quality service delivery across the organisation. The role suits someone who is highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working independently with clear accountability. Key responsibilities Monitor incident reports daily and assess against NDIS reportable incident criteria Submit Reportable Incident Notifications and complete five‑day reports within required timeframes Monitor unauthorised restrictive practices and ensure all uses are reported correctly Complete monthly restrictive practices reporting within required timeframes Prepare and coordinate Restrictive Practices Authorisation submissions and panel meetings Maintain oversight of Behaviour Support Plans, including tracking expiry dates and changes Complete scheduled internal audits, including governance and participant file audits Conduct regular documentation and shift note quality reviews Maintain and update the Risk Register and Continuous Improvement Register Identify compliance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities and track actions to completion Liaise with leadership, Team Leaders, Engagement, SIL, and Behaviour Support Practitioners as required About you Experience in quality, compliance, or audit roles (NDIS or human services preferred) Strong understanding of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements Experience with incident management and restrictive practices reporting High attention to detail and strong time management skills Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills Mandatory requirements NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check National Crime Police Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module Flexible part‑time hours Fully remote role within NSW Clear scope and expectations Supportive leadership and established systems Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on service quality and compliance How to apply Please submit your resume and a short cover letter through Seek outlining your experience in quality, compliance, or NDIS‑related roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
