Overview Senior Project Officer – Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to play a pivotal role in improving how Queenslanders engage with government services – particularly small and family businesses. You’ll be part of a dynamic team focused on innovation, data, and technology-enabled customer solutions, contributing to better outcomes for communities across the state. Responsibilities Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of high-profile government initiatives and business improvement projects. Coordinate project schedules, finances, documentation and reporting to ensure milestones are met. Develop high-quality correspondence, briefing notes, presentations and governance papers. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across government and industry. Support engagement and communication activity to drive visibility, collaboration and successful delivery. Work both autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing team, consistently prioritising customer needs. Champion best practice, quality standards and a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications Experience working in project or program environments, ideally within government or complex organisations Excellent written and verbal communication skills – briefing, reporting, stakeholder engagement Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly Advanced capability across Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Planner, etc.) Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, outcomes-focused environment The confidence to work across multiple workstreams and with senior stakeholders Formal certification or experience in project/program methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, MSP) Proficiency with MS Project or Power BI Apply Apply now and I will be in touch #J-18808-Ljbffr
