Desktop Support Analyst

6-12 month ongoing contract with the view to extend Conveniently located in CBD (5 days' in the office) Join a high performing team within the utility domain We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join this leading utility company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing systems maintenance, support and operation of the IT infrastructure environment. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Provide level 2 support across network, server and desktop hardware, mobile devices, software and peripheral devices, including proprietary applications. User support via a helpdesk ticketing system, as well as direct contact by email, Teams, phone and in person. Monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure. Work closely with senior Infrastructure and Software Development staff in both a support capacity, and in the implementation of projects. Identify and troubleshoot system problems in order to improve performance and reliability. Contribute to the strategic direction of the IT department and business by making recommendations for system enhancements. Skills and experience we are looking for: Strong proficiency with Windows desktop and server platforms, including Exchange, Active Directory, SOE, Windows Server (Group Policy, DNS, DFS, DHCP), SCCM. Experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune. Experience with Windows desktop deployment. Experience with Office 365 applications and services. Proven critical thinking and experience troubleshooting across a range of systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
