Specification Manager - Windows and Doors Salexo Consulting Sydney, NSW A$100,000-$115,000 p/a Sales → Account & Relationship Management On-site Posted 1 day ago About the Company My client is a well established, family‑owned group operating across multiple recognised brands supplying a comprehensive hardware ranging from window and door hardware, door track systems and weather seals, to aluminium cast components, security fittings, and high‑security door solutions, and maintains a full‑service maintenance/repair arm to support post‑installation servicing. About the Role The right candidate is a commercially focused, technically astute professional who will drive product specification and project conversion within the architectural and construction markets. Acting as a key interface between sales, design, engineering and external stakeholders, this role ensures the group’s diverse product range is accurately specified, promoted, and adopted across major commercial and residential projects. The position blends technical expertise with strong relationship management and business development capability. Responsibilities Proactively secure specifications for the full window, door and hardware portfolio with architects, designers, builders and fabricators. Identify upcoming projects and influence product selection through early engagement and solution‑based consultation. Support sales teams with technical expertise, joint client meetings, and tailored product recommendations. Prepare and maintain accurate technical specifications, datasheets and compliance documents for use in tenders and design submissions. Deliver CPD presentations, product demonstrations and technical workshops to design practices and key industry partners. Review architectural drawings and performance requirements to recommend compliant, value‑driven system solutions. Manage and track project pipelines from initial specification through to contractor and fabricator conversion. Provide clear technical guidance during tender reviews, value engineering discussions and project coordination stages. Liaise with engineering, testing and product development teams to ensure specified products meet performance and regulatory standards. Monitor market activity, competitor offerings and industry regulations to adjust specification strategies and maintain product advantage.
