About the role Victoria Legal Aid is seeking a Senior Evaluation Advisor to lead the planning, monitoring and evaluation of our First Nations programs and projects. The role supports VLA's First Nations Services team, building cultural appropriate learning, improving service design and communicating impact to stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop and refine evaluation frameworks for First Nations programs. Provide practical advice on planning, monitoring and evaluation to program managers and staff. Build team capability to collect, analyse and use information for continuous learning. Communicate evaluation insights and impact stories to staff, partners and community. Qualifications Strong experience working with First Nations communities and an understanding of cultural norms, communication styles and community priorities. Experience in project planning, monitoring and evaluation, ideally in community, government or legal settings. Collaborative and supportive approach, helping others build skills and confidence in planning, reflection and learning. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn data and insights into meaningful stories that show impact.
