Salesforce Developer | Manager | Advisory Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Seniority Level: Entry level Employment Type: Contract Job Function: Information Technology Industry: Technology, Information and Internet Salary: A$40,000 - A$45,000 Overview We are supporting a leading global consulting partner in their search for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their Sydney-based technology delivery team. This role is part of a major transformation program, offering the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Salesforce initiatives. If you’re a proactive and collaborative Salesforce professional with strong development experience, this role offers the chance to contribute to impactful digital programs within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy Salesforce solutions across the full software development lifecycle. Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing and implementation. Develop and maintain custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and other Salesforce technologies. Build integrations with external systems using APIs or integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Azure). Ensure all development complies with Salesforce best practices, coding standards and security guidelines. Work collaboratively with stakeholders and delivery teams to implement system improvements. Provide proactive support and contribute to a positive delivery culture. Manage defect triage, analysis and resolution. Prepare technical documentation such as design documents, release notes and user guides. Essential Criteria Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud). Strong experience with Apex, LWC and other Salesforce platform tools. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Skills Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, etc. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and other modern web technologies. Experience with Salesforce Community Cloud or collaboration platforms. Familiarity with DevOps / CI‑CD processes. Nice to have: exposure to Salesforce Public Sector Solutions or Omnistudio. Why Join?
