Farm Foods is a Geelong based food manufacturing business, specialising in valued added meat products. (eg Sausages, Hamburgers, Meatballs & Kebabs etc) From humble origins back in 2003 the business commenced as a butcher shop in the small country town of Birregurra. Now some 20 years later, the business has grown to become one of Australia’s leading meat manufacturers of private label products to Australia's major supermarkets. The Role The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the logistics team and the full logistics function within Farm Foods Pty Ltd. This position comes with strong growth opportunities to oversee the warehouse department and manage all inwards and outwards goods across the multiple sites owned and operated by Farm Foods. Key responsibilities include: The invoicing or EDI transfer of information in our IT systems (NetSuite & SPS) At times, it will liaise directly with our trade partner distribution centre personal, regarding changes to arrival or supply of goods The management and coordination of onsite finished goods within Farm Foods cold storage areas The care and cleanliness of finished goods chillers The rostering and coordination of both logistics and dispatch personal over 6 days (to meet demand requirements) The management and reconciliation of pallet and bins transfers within set frame works and costs Planning and forecasting of logistics based activities Pallet management Freight price negotiations About You Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Ability to work autonomously and deliver on KPI’s Initiative with a drive to continually improve processes High degree of accountability and attention to detail Experience with a Transport Management System & Microsoft Suite Customer service abilities Experience in operating forklifts & a current forklift license Full and permanent working rights in Australia Ability to undertake pre-employment medical Farm Foods is an award winning business that is experiencing significant growth.
