Business Development Manager – Community Nursing & Consumables Health N Home is a trusted Australian provider of Community Nursing, Wound & Catheter Care, and Healthcare Consumables, supporting people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We’re entering an exciting growth phase and looking for a confident, relationship‑driven Business Development Manager to expand our reach across My Aged Care, DVA, and community health sectors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with people, building partnerships, and driving meaningful growth, all while working with purpose. About the role You’ll lead business development across Community Nursing and Consumables divisions. Working closely with our clinical, procurement, and operations teams, you’ll strengthen referral networks, identify new opportunities, and represent Health N Home as a trusted partner in wound, catheter, and continence care. This is a field‑focused role (80% on the road / 20% in the office) primarily across Brisbane and Southeast Queensland , with occasional interstate travel for key stakeholder engagement and growth initiatives. Key responsibilities Strategic growth & partnerships Build, grow and retain referral relationships with Support Coordinators, Case Managers, GPs, Allied Health, hospitals/discharge planners, and aged care providers. Develop and execute territory plans to expand referral pathways and increase repeat/referral business. Represent Health N Home at events, expos and stakeholder meetings to strengthen brand presence and trust. Sales & pipeline management Convert opportunities across services and consumables, achieving agreed revenue and conversion targets. Maintain accurate CRM activity, report on performance, and provide pipeline forecasts and insights to leadership. Coordinate internal handover and follow‑through to support a seamless client/referrer experience. Consumables & product expansion Promote Health N Home’s consumables range (wound dressings, continence, catheter care, and daily living products). Partner with procurement to support demand forecasting, stock flow, and customer satisfaction. Identify product/category opportunities that improve retention and increase share‑of‑wallet with referrers/clients. Sector knowledge & compliance Maintain an understanding of relevant frameworks including My Aged Care, DVA and NDIS (where applicable), plus basic pricing and compliance considerations. Balance commercial outcomes with ethical, person‑centred solutions. About you You’re commercially savvy yet people‑focused — able to open doors, build trust, and deliver growth that supports better client outcomes. Experience in business development, account management, or sales within aged care, community nursing, healthcare, or consumables . Strong relationship‑building capability with referrers and stakeholders, with a focus on retention and long‑term partnerships . Confidence in managing a pipeline, working to targets, and reporting activity/insights. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Initiative and accountability — you manage your territory like it’s your own. Requirements Full working rights in Australia. Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and confidence with regular local travel. Willingness to undertake a National Police Check (or ability to provide a recent one). Advantageous (but not essential) Clinical background or hands‑on understanding of wound care, catheter/continence care, or community nursing environments. Familiarity with procurement processes and referral pathways in aged care/community health.
