Role & Responsibilities:
Oversee the successful delivery of complex business projects, ensuring alignment with program outcomes, budgets, and customer needs.
Lead program delivery to a large workforce, including employees, contractors, and service organizations, to ensure efficient and ethical delivery of program services.
Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables, ensuring alignment with quality standards and compliance with policies.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and proactively assist the Project Sponsors during negotiations, presentations, and communications to stakeholders.
Maintain a focus on risk management including safety, quality, and change throughout project lifecycle through appropriate controls and assurance activities.
Develop and implement strategies to improve organisational maturity in project delivery and program management.
The Successful Candidate:Minimum 5+ years' experience in managing projects and programs, in a complex and high-risk business environment. Demonstrated Program or Major Project management experience, leading and successfully delivering strategic IT projects/programs of work, ensuring delivery meets budget, time, and quality standards. Proven experience managing complex programs of work across business units or separate entities. Planning, leading, managing, and motivating multi-disciplinary project delivery teams, applying best practice project management methodologies, managing both internal and external (contractors and vendors) to achieve outstanding results. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influencing skills which demonstrate a capacity to build and maintain relationships with leaders. You will be a motivating and inspiring leader who excels at building their own team’s capability and maximising performance. Demonstrated experience in prioritising competing demands, whilst delivering quality outcomes.
