Production Manager

We are working with a multi-national leader in the defense, communication and transport industries. This role will be over seeing the day to day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality in both the process and end product in line with the companies goals and values. The Role The production manager is responsible for leading a team of twelve employees including two managers with the likelihood of expanding the team up to twenty over the next twelve months. The ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative fashion will be necessary for success in the role. Experience in defense and communications will be highly regarded. Responsibilities Supervising and coordinating the production team to ensure delivery and quality targets are met. Evaluate KPI and production reports to find and implement improvements in efficiency and performance Resolve issues that hinder production and optimise work flows Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including global departments to ensure seamless production Support a culture of compliance with the relevant health, safety and envinronmental regulations Requirements 5+ years experience in production management, ideally in defense, transport or communications Good inter-personal communication skills along with the ability to motivate a team SAP, ISO and IPC/WHMA-A-620 experience are desirable Experience with production management and data analysis tools Ability in continuous improvement and knowledge of lean manufacturing practises A tertiary qualification in engineering or related fields is desirable but not necessary What We Offer A competitive salary and long term bonus structure Training and development with career opportunities with a growing multi-national Flexibility and work life balance support Apply Now If this sounds like your next role, email me on ************@adecco.com.au or call me on ***.
