Shape the Future of Energy. What You’ll Do Technical Leadership & Delivery Lead and oversee design and engineering projects, ensuring exceptional technical quality, compliance, and innovation. Approve or review design deliverables to ensure accuracy, usability, schedule and cost expectations are met. Champion engineering standards, best practices, and sustainable design principles that support carbon reduction and community benefit goals. People Development Mentor and develop emerging engineers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration and technical excellence. Partner with team leaders to identify development opportunities and ensure teams remain at the forefront of industry advancements. Work Winning & Business Growth Lead proposal development, client engagement, and market strategies to secure new opportunities aligned with Middleton Group’s growth objectives. Build and maintain strong industry networks to enhance the firm’s technical reputation and business presence. Strategic Influence Contribute to the business planning process, offering insights that shape our technical strategy and project delivery models. Collaborate across teams to drive innovation and maintain Middleton Group’s position as a trusted advisor in the energy sector. About You You are a respected technical authority with a passion for delivering high‑quality engineering outcomes and developing others. You lead with integrity, curiosity, and a growth mindset. Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with 15+ years of experience in substation design and protection systems. Proven ability to manage and deliver complex engineering projects. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance technical excellence and project performance. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
