Responsibilities Perform a wide range of complex ultrasound procedures with precision and care. Support efficient patient scheduling and workflow management. Mentor and guide junior sonographers and students within a strong quality and safety framework. Work closely with the Chief Sonographer and specialist teams to provide accurate diagnostic insights that support timely clinical decisions. Qualifications Degree in Applied Science in Medical Radiation Science (Radiography or Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent. Current registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA) as a Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Scientist and holds a current NSW EPA Radiation licence. Postgraduate qualification in Medical Sonography and valid Ultrasound accreditation from ASAR; eligibility for membership with ASA/ASUM/ASMIRT. Demonstrated knowledge, experience and competence in ultrasound and previous experience in either radiography or nuclear medicine in a medical imaging clinical setting. Demonstrated high level interpersonal communication skills applied to a patient environment, and proven effective report‑writing skills. Evidence of capacity to prioritise workload and achieve outcomes. Analytical and problem‑solving skills applied to a range of clinical situations to develop effective solutions. Professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
