About the Role We’re seeking a proactive Facilities & Operations Coordinator to manage front-of-house (FOH), facilities, events, and general site operations for our Sydney office. Reporting to the Manager – Properties and Facilities, you will support the planning and implementation of quality facility services at CPA Australia. Additionally, this role includes managing minor projects in the office such as all installations and minor refurbishments. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, coordinate events, manage minor projects, and maintain compliance standards. Your key duties will include Manage FOH operations including reception, function and catering operations to ensure members experience a high quality, consistent, and welcoming service when entering the Sydney Office. Oversee day-to-day facilities operations including maintenance, cleaning, security, and utilities management. Contribute to the development and maintenance of facilities schedules and programmed maintenance plans for the Sydney office and other offices as required. Ensure the Sydney office is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety, including daily coordination of waste management activities. Act as the primary point of contact for member walk‑ins, facilities‑related queries and service requests. Coordinate minor projects, installations and refurbishments. Ensure WHS compliance and attend committee meetings. Support internal and external events, including room setups and catering logistics. Liaise with building management and contractors to maintain service standards. Process invoices and manage supplier contracts. About you Previous facilities management experience. Demonstrated experience in the supervision of building works, contractor management and contract preparation / administration. Project Management knowledge / experience. Working knowledge of building codes and regulations, Australian standards and OH&S legislation. High level interpersonal and communication skills.
