Product Development Lead – Bring Great Food Ideas to Life Location: Broadmeadows, VictoriaBe the driving force behind innovation and customer success. We’re looking for a Product Development Lead to manage the delivery of exciting new food products — from concept through to launch.In this hands‑on role, you’ll be the technical link between our customers and internal teams , guiding projects through the Stage Gate process to deliver on time, on budget, and to specification. If you love variety, problem‑solving, and seeing great ideas come to life, this is the role for you. What You’ll Do Lead and coordinate new and existing product projects from concept to launch. Act as the primary technical contact for key customers. Work cross‑functionally with Commercial, Production, and Technical teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Champion best practice within the Stage Gate process , ensuring clarity, efficiency, and consistency. Review launches, capture learnings, and drive continuous improvement . What You’ll Bring Degree in Food Science, Food Technology , or equivalent. Minimum 2 years’ experience managing NPD projects in food manufacturing (fresh or short shelf‑life products ideal). Strong understanding of Australian Food Legislation, FSANZ, and customer compliance requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
