Summary: Our global, publicly traded client in Fort Mill, is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join their team As a Staff Accountant, you will support the accounting team through account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, month-end close activities, SOX compliance tasks, and special projects to ensure accurate financial data for operational and reporting needs. This is a highly stable company with strong potential for internal and upward growth. Location: Fort Mill, SC – Hybrid Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (of your choice) Flexible Hours: 7:30-4:30, 8-5, 8:30-5:30 - flexible Responsibilities: Play a key role in the monthly close process by ensuring timely journal entry posting, account reconciliations, and completion of all required documentation. Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. Maintain accurate records and support SOX compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting. Support ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting. Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Experience with Accounting ERP systems. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills.
