Electrical & Controls Engineer (Graduate - Senior) CanDoIt Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical & Controls Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland . This is a full‑time position suited to Graduate, Junior, Intermediate, or Senior engineers , depending on experience. You will work on a wide range of industrial automation projects across multiple industries, contributing to the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems. This is a hands‑on role that provides exposure to real industrial environments and full project lifecycles, from concept through to commissioning and support. What You’ll Be Doing Design and development of electrical and control systems for industrial applications Preparation of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation PLC programming and SCADA development Assisting with or leading factory testing, site installation, and commissioning Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions Providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems Working in accordance with relevant Australian standards and industry best practices Senior engineers may also be involved in system architecture, technical leadership, mentoring, and project delivery oversight. What We’re Looking For Graduate / Junior Level Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic (or in final stages) Strong interest in control systems, PLCs, and industrial automation Willingness to learn and work on site‑based projects Good problem‑solving skills and a practical mindset Intermediate / Senior Level Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline Experience in electrical and/or controls engineering roles Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems Experience with electrical design and commissioning activities Ability to work independently and contribute to project delivery Familiarity with relevant Australian standards and regulations Experience with Ignition SCADA is highly regarded across all levels.
