As a respected leader in the industry, we’re expanding and seeking an experienced Estimator to become an integral part of our team. About the role We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Construction Estimator who is passionate about marine construction and ready to make a difference. In this role, you will be responsible for providing precise cost estimates and developing competitive bids for a variety of marine and construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure that our projects are competitively priced and financially viable, supporting our goal of delivering outstanding results. Responsibilities Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed cost estimates for marine construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads. Bid Preparation: Developing and submitting comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and project requirements. Project Analysis: Analysing project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and identify potential cost implications. Procurement and Supplier Coordination: Coordinating closely with procurement to ensure materials and unfixed equipment are sourced, ordered and delivered on time. Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing risks associated with project costs and propose mitigation strategies. Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates. Documentation: Maintaining thorough and organized records of estimates, bid proposals, and related documentation. About the candidate We’re searching for a Construction Estimator who brings both experience and enthusiasm to the role. You should have a proven track record in construction estimation within the marine sector, with a strong grasp of construction processes and marine infrastructure. Your ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and your keen attention to detail will be key to your success. Effective communication is essential, as you will need to present complex information clearly and work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Your educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field will provide a solid foundation for this role.
