Test Engineer Green Light Worldwide have a requirement with our client partner for a Test Engineer to join their team. Permanent Full-time Opportunities. Melbourne Location. Existing Positive Vetting Security clearance required (Essential). Responsibilities Synthesise customer requirements into effective test solutions, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Review and evaluate the testability of functional and non-functional requirements. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures across various testing stages. Analyse test results, identify and manage defects, and prepare detailed test reports. Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks. Requirements Due to the Federal Government nature of this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and hold an active AGSVA TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) clearance. Proven experience in test engineering within complex IT environments. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies. Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
