About the role As a key member of the People and Shared Services team, the ICT Support Officer supports the delivery of ECLC’s digital workplace strategy centred on employee experience, engagement and adoption. This is achieved through administration and support of key ICT digital workplace solutions and hardware assets, and by providing support to end-users through provision of ICT support and training. The role contributes to overall organisational objectives by providing ICT support at key organisational events as well as retaining an awareness of digital workplace trends, with a particular focus on minimising security risks. The ICT Support Officer works collaboratively on key ICT projects alongside the Shared Services Manager and other key stakeholders. About You We are seeking an experienced and flexible person, with initiative and a proactive mindset. As an organisation embracing the digital workplace, you will love all things technology that improves the quality of users’ interactions with technology in their work and enhances the employee experience. You will have the passion, patience and capability to promote adoption and user-level support, particularly when guiding others, and be committed to continuous improvement. We expect you to understand cybersecurity risks, apply this lens to your work, and collaborate with the Shared Services Manager and our external IT provider to help reduce risk. We also expect you to keep up to date with current and emerging technologies such as AI. You will have good organisation skills, engage well with others, be able to anticipate needs and effectively manage tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of self-awareness, resilience and professionalism. Specifically, you will have: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within NFP/community sector, with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline Understanding of the capabilities and role of the digital workplace in supporting organisational objectives Demonstrated experience in administrating Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, and a variety of digital workplace platforms Demonstrated experience in providing professional, timely and effective ICT support Highly effective interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining co-operative and productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels Excellent judgement in relation to problem‑solving with a focus on developing solutions and the ability to innovate and adapt to change Experience training and supporting people in the use of technology; this position is based at ECLC’s Boronia/Box Hill locations with attendance at outreach locations as required.
