Senior Manager, Pre-Sales

This role is a permanent hybrid position open to candidates in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, or Brisbane. Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of Hexagon's portfolio (products, services, and markets) and act as a subject matter expert (SME). Design and deliver end-to-end solution architecture for customer projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements, data security, and performance standards. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and software demonstrations to customers. Lead technical requirements for opportunities, including RFIs, EOIs, and RFPs, and contribute to bid / no-bid decisions. Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities, drive pipeline growth, and support strategic initiatives. Provide strategic advice and act as a technical leader in projects, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to project delivery. Uphold architectural governance standards across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management frameworks. Work closely with the development team to understand capabilities, processes, and DevOps processes; participate in coding or business workflow mapping as required. Provide input and resolution of technical issues across the SDLC. Support the implementation and upholding of architectural governance controls across the SDLC and project management frameworks. Education / Qualifications Tertiary education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 7-10 years of Solution Architecture experience with a strong focus on PreSales. Experience implementing complex enterprise projects in mission-critical / high-availability environments is highly desirable. Proven professional experience in a presales or equivalent role. Public safety domain knowledge or experience with (or understanding of) Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) / Mobile Computing is highly desirable. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts and associated legalities; understanding of profit and loss for proposals and responses is desirable.
