About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Officer to lead international student recruitment and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract and engage international students, managing relationships with education agents, and ensuring all promotional activities meet the Standards for RTOs 2025, the ESOS Act 2000, and the National Code 2018 requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement student recruitment strategies across international markets to promote RBA’s CRICOS-approved programs. Identify and engage prospective VET students through digital outreach, client visits, education fairs, and community events. Manage the complete recruitment pipeline, including lead generation, follow‑ups, conversions, and tracking of inquiries, applications, and enrolments. Build and maintain partnerships with education agents, migration consultants, and community organisations to support recruitment efforts. Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends in key international markets. Plan, design, and execute marketing campaigns to promote programs and increase enrolments. Create and manage engaging content for digital platforms, including the website, email newsletters, and social media channels. Oversee RBA’s digital marketing presence and ensure all promotional materials comply with the ESOS Act 2000, National Code 2018, and Standards for RTOs 2025 marketing and advertising requirements. Collaborate with admissions, academic, and operational teams to align recruitment messaging and develop course‑specific promotional materials. Maintain a strong understanding of program information, pre‑enrolment requirements, education trends, and government regulations affecting international students. Qualifications & Experience Demonstrated experience in marketing or student recruitment within the RTO / CRICOS / VET / Higher Education sector. In‑depth understanding of the National Code 2018, ESOS Act 2000, and Standards for RTOs 2025. Proven success in international student recruitment and agent management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross‑cultural relationship management skills. Strong digital marketing skills, including social media, CRM, and content marketing. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and compliance obligations effectively. High level of professionalism and attention to detail. Qualification in Marketing, Business, or International Education. Experience with CRICOS marketing compliance and the Standards for RTOs 2025. Existing agent network or experience in key source markets (e.g., South Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America). Experience working in multicultural environments.
