About the role Join the team at Binna Burra Lodge as a Qualified Chef. This part‑time role in Beechmont, QLD offers the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a stunning mountain location. As a Qualified Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals that delight our guests and align with the company's focus on sustainable, locally‑sourced produce. What you'll be doing Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner service Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen Collaborating with the wider hospitality team to deliver an exceptional guest experience Sourcing local, seasonal ingredients to incorporate into the menu Providing guidance and mentorship to kitchen staff Adhering to budgets and controlling food costs What we're looking for Formal culinary qualification or equivalent experience as a Qualified Chef Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required Proven track record in a similar role within the hospitality industry A minimum of 1‑2 years of chef experience in hospitality is required Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation and service Strong time management and organisational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to using sustainable, locally‑sourced ingredients What we offer At Binna Burra Lodge, we believe in creating a positive and supportive work environment for our employees.
