Wok Temptation is an Asian style restaurant with an extensive range of menu selections and it is trading from 11am till 9pm 7 days a week, We have a vacancy opening for an on-site chef. We are looking for an experienced and qualified candidate. Responsibilities and main duties: Developing innovative food offerings, providing feedback and ideas to the managers, designing seasonal menus and dishes Estimating food and labour costs, monitoring food stock and place orders Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages Full responsibility for preparation,cooking, and presentation of meals; supervising all kitchen staff, delegating tasks to kitchen staff Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures Preparing and cooking a wide variety of menu items in a timely manner Monitoring hygiene regulations, coordinating rosters, training kitchen staff, leading the kitchen team Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance About You: To be successful in this opportunity, you will have: A relevant Cert IV in cookery/ kitchen management qualification required Minimum of 2 years experience as a qualified chef Be punctual and observe regular attendance Be willing to be a team player helping with training and recruiting kitchen staff when required Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Experience in Asian cuisine, be able to use commercial wok Second language(Chinese/ Cantonese preferred) If you would like to apply for this job, please apply online or send your application to *************@icloud.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
