At UNSW Fitness & Aquatic Centre, we’re on the lookout for a vibrant, detail-driven Bookings & Customer Service Coordinator to help us deliver exceptional service and make our sport and recreation facilities the place to be. About the Role As our Bookings & Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our centre, juggling bookings, memberships, and program coordination with a smile. You’ll make sure our stadium, courts, rooms, and pool spaces are buzzing with activity, all while ensuring every member and community partner feels welcome and valued. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Sales & Customer Service Manager and a passionate front-of-house team, creating a space that’s not just efficient, but genuinely engaging. From managing daily bookings and responding to member enquiries, to supporting events, activations, and retention initiatives, you’ll be at the centre of it all, helping our members connect, play, and thrive. Our 1000plus team are based at our sites across VIC, NSW, WA and QLD. Key Responsibilities Coordinate bookings and maximise utilisation of all sport and recreation spaces. Deliver outstanding service to members, community groups, and UNSW partners. Support the Sales & Customer Service Manager with daily operations, reporting, and staff training. Manage administration, invoicing, and booking system updates with accuracy and flair. Respond promptly and professionally to member enquiries, feedback, and adjustment requests. Contribute to member engagement initiatives, events, and activations that build community spirit. Support marketing and communication activities, including social media, campaigns, and retention programs. Maintain compliance with WHS and operational policies, ensuring safe and welcoming spaces for all. About You Proven experience in customer service, administration, or bookings coordination within sport, fitness, or recreation environments. Excellent communication, attention to detail and relationship-building skills. Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented. Confident using software platforms (Perfect Gym, Microsoft Office, Xero, CRM systems). Current First Aid & CPR and Working With Children certification (or willingness to obtain). The Roster Full-time, 38 hours per week (some flexibility around events or activations). Standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend shifts. Ready to Create Exceptional Experiences?
