Casual Medical Receptionist x2 - Start in 2 weeks Whitfords Avenue Medical Group in Kallaroo, WA. We are a split billing (bulk billing/private billing), large, family practice with 6 permanent doctors and 2 Registrar doctors (soon to be 3), providing exceptional quality care to our local community. We value the caring relationships that we have developed with our clients. The position is for 2 Casual Medical Receptionists, with a start in about 2 weeks while we finish with our Accreditation, with excellent communication and time management skills to join us in our busy and friendly practice. We also have Allied Health practitioners including a podiatrist, a psychologist, a physiotherapist and a diabetes educator. We are open from 6.45 - 20.00 varied throughout the week Monday - Saturday. Shifts could be anywhere between a 6.45am opening shift, day shift of 7.00/8.00am - 3.00/4.00pm or closing shift of 5.00/6.00pm. School hours shifts are NOT available. Must have flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave throughout the whole week and preferable to be able to work Public Holidays if required. Potential to move to Part-time if desired. Qualifications & experience Pracsoft and Medical Director experience desired CPR certificate required or date booked for certificate Ability to multitask and work in a multidisciplinary team Calm and professional manner Quick learner and be adaptable to change Hand Hygiene certificate (able to complete after successful application) Tasks & responsibilities Answering telephone queries in a courteous and professional manner and greeting patients at the Practice in a courteous and efficient manner Preparing outgoing mail and receiving and scanning incoming mail Issue patients invoices/receipts and bulk bill as required Take payments when private billing Run private health claims through the HICAPS machine Make appointments for patients following set procedures Exercising confidentiality in regards to patient care and all aspects of the practice Banking at the end of the day and batching Medicare and DVA claims Sending Workers Compensation accounts, receipting and more Fill in roster when staff away on holidays and sick leave Other medical reception duties as required Free Parking Offers salary sacrifice to Superannuation #J-18808-Ljbffr
