Role Description This is a full-time role for a senior-level Structural Drafter, located in a heritage-listed building in the heart of Fortitude Valley, QLD. Reporting to the engineering management team, the successful applicant will be responsible for: design and draft a range of structural engineering drawings prepare technical drawings and plans to be used in construction demonstrate excellent capability in Autodesk Revit, including use of plug-ins and scripts. demonstrate sound capability in Autodesk AutoCAD manage, coordinate and track engineering projects assist with development of company standards ensure conformance to client specifications, company standards as well as other regulation requirements liaise with local councils, clients and key stakeholders assist in day-to-day operations when necessary. As gama are looking for the best of the best, preferred applicants are to have the ambition to grow into a BIM management role if not already performing at this level. Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in Australian-based consultancies, Minimum 7+ years of experience in the structural engineering field, with proven experience in multi-storey projects, Excellent understanding of AS and other relevant industry standards, Ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
