Our client, a well-established and reputable construction business in Western Sydney , is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional to join their team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of construction payroll, and can confidently manage end-to-end payroll functions. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll for weekly and fortnightly cycles Process employee timesheets, allowances, RDOs, overtime, and site-specific conditions Ensure compliance with relevant awards, EBAs, and construction industry legislation Maintain accurate employee records and handle payroll queries Liaise with HR, site managers, and finance teams Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end processes Support process improvements and payroll system optimisation About You Proven experience as a Payroll Officer within the construction industry (essential) Strong understanding of construction awards, EBAs, and site-based payroll complexities High attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy Proficient with payroll systems (e.g., MYOB, Chris21, ADP, or similar) Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport across the business A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability What’s on Offer Competitive salary $80,000 - $110,000 + Super, depending on experience Opportunity to join a stable and respected construction organisation Supportive team environment with long‑term career prospects Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Human Resources Industries Business Content Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Design Build by 2x Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
