What does the job look like? An exciting opportunity is available to join our Resource and Industrial team as a Despatch Coordinator. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and shift management for the Bulk Fuel national operations (VIC, NSW & QLD). You will ensure schedules are maintained and resources utilised to reduce unproductive time. This fulltime role is required to work a rotating 12 hour day/night roster, working 7 shifts a fortnight. Key areas: Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring commitment to safety, COR and quality requirements Monitoring shift activity to ensure schedules are being executed as planned, and intervene where resources are running behind Effective management and development of driver workforce to provide efficiency Optimise equipment and operational tasks to deliver productive outcomes through resource utilization Proactive management of customer relationships Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement Are you the one? This role will suit a motivated supply chain professional with an understanding of transport management and planning. You are passionate about driving outcomes and building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. You can demonstrate: Robust knowledge of Transport and Logistics with experience in a similar role Understanding of Dangerous Goods and NHVR regulations would be advantageous An organised and systematic approach to work, with high attention to detail Highly developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills Excellent MS Office knowledge with exposure to transport scheduling systems At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
