Ecocycle Pty Ltd, a leading recycling and waste management company, is seeking a dedicated Yard Hand to join our team in St Marys, NSW. As a Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our recycling facility, contributing to our mission of creating a more sustainable future. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and be part of a company committed to environmental responsibility. What you'll be doing Safely operating and maintaining heavy machinery, such as forklifts Manually handling and sorting incoming recyclable materials, ensuring they are properly categorised and prepared for processing Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of materials Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including sweeping, cleaning. Following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe workplace for yourself and your colleagues Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of our recycling processes What we're looking for Previous experience working in a similar yard or warehouse environment, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry Forklift licence or willing to learn or obtain Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team A proactive and problem‑solving mindset, with a willingness to contribute to process improvements What we offer At Ecocycle, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
