Join to apply for the ICT Project Manager-Technical role at Peoplebank . We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of a new platform focused on material hazards. This is a pivotal role requiring a unique blend of design thinking, technical leadership, and stakeholder coordination across IT and business domains. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of a new material hazards platform. Partner with enterprise architects, IT functions, and business stakeholders to agree on the technical solution. Drive platform architecture discussions, ensuring consensus on design direction and alignment with organisational priorities. Manage scope, timelines, and delivery milestones across cross-functional teams. Facilitate working group sessions to confirm requirements and readiness for development. Collaborate closely with the Business Analyst to capture functional requirements and ensure compliance is built into the platform. Develop and manage project business cases and management plans, engaging stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. Establish monitoring and reporting mechanisms, providing evidence-based insights to senior leadership. Conduct post-implementation reviews and quality assurance activities, capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement. Provide comprehensive reporting against KPIs, highlighting progress, risks, and issues requiring escalation. Lead project teams in refining methodologies and delivery practices to align with departmental standards and best practices. Requirements Extensive experience as an ICT Project Manager in a large, complex IT environment. Strong technical background with exposure to system architecture, platform design, or design thinking methodologies. Minimum of 5–10 years of experience working in an Agile environment. Proven ability to apply structured project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile frameworks). Experience in compliance-driven or regulated environments is highly desirable. Exposure to cloud transformation, data platform modernisation, or cybersecurity initiatives. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar PM tools. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across IT and business domains. Interested in this opportunity?
